Dabol Nigeria Limited recognizes the value, importance, and necessity of food safety as fundamental to our business.  We are dedicated to safeguard our stakeholders, employees, and customers, by operating in a hygienic workplace for cleaning, storing and distributing grains that are always safe for their intended use.

In implementing this policy, Dabol Nigeria Limited will:

Communicate and promote food safety aspects; strategies and performance to both employee (at all levels and functions of the organization) and business partners (including suppliers, contractors, investors and stake holders) that have impact on, or are affected by the company’s Food Safety Management System.

Set key measurable objectives and metrics for Food Safety Management System that will be reviewed annually.

Undertake routine audits of Food Safety practices and operating procedures, to ensure that employees comply with all company Food Safety and Hygiene policies and procedures.

Comply to applicable statutory and regulatory requirements and mutually agreed customers’ requirements related to Food Safety.

Commit to Provision of resources to develop, implement, maintain, and continually improve Food Safety Management System based 0n FSSC 22000.

Communicate Food Safety Management System requirements to all Staff, Customers, Visitors, Suppliers, Contractors, and all stakeholders.

Build a Food Safety capability, mindset and culture through structured programs that develop employees’ competencies and technical skills, increase awareness, manage risk and drive increasing levels of excellence across the organization.

Periodically review this food safety policy to ensure that it remains relevant and applicable to our business as well as to effectively manage food safety risks associated with changes in products, processes, and technologies.
